Personalized trainings with the body and the voice

The main inspiration for my trainings is Jerzy Grotowski and the methods developed by his actors (Body Alphabet, Open Voice, Plastique). In my experience, Michael Chekhov’s school can be combined quite effectively with Grotowski’s techniques and method. Chekhov’s imagination exercises, implemented into physical tasks, can result in strong and precise experiences. Meyerhold’s biomechanics exercises can build and create a community in no time. I use the Viewpoints technique to make connections and develop compositional skills.

During the personalized trainings, the participant not only gets a glimpse of the work of the masters, but also gets easy-to-use instructional tools through the exercises. These can enhance creativity and the ability to concentrate. My method is useful for all professions which require self-expression and creativity, as well as immediate solutions.

I use this method not only in a theatrical environment, it is also used by musicians and representatives of non-performative arts. I often train with non-theatre and non-art people who use these exercises in their everyday lives.

In these past few years, I have got a taste for many areas of speech-language therapy, but I have always returned to the same field: voice & speech training, voice therapy, and voice disorders. I have been studying and focusing on the expressive power of the voice, and the connections between the voice and the personality for a long time now.

Besides the classical speech-language therapy methods my interest has shifted to the harmonic function of the whole body. I felt that greater results can be achieved if I also get inspiration from the greater theater masters’ practices (Jerzy Grotowski, Mihail Csehov).

There are many people all over the world who use their voice as a main tool of their work. Due to the hustle and bustle of everyday life, they often don´t pay enough attention to vocal hygiene. During the personal voice training my goal is to raise awareness on the importance of taking care of your own voice. I also teach techniques and exercises which can help in regenerating, training the voice, and maintaining a clear, healthy version of it.

Nowadays I am focusing on adults and adolescents. I provide virtual and personal voice training in Utrecht & Budapest.

The conscious use of your voice

Finding your own speaking voice – a fully resonant, pleasant, rich voice

Breathing techniques (the conscious use of the diaphragmatic breathing)

Learning an easy technique, which can maintain, regenerate your voice or warm it up before a long, “communicative” day/ a presentation
